Spring is in the Air 🌸

Yay !! I Completed 27/9!

As I stepped through the door of my home after a recent trip, I was hit with an overwhelming sense of unease. The clutter that once went unnoticed suddenly seemed unbearable.

I knew then that it was time for a change, time to simplify and let go of the things that were holding me back. With spring and Passover fast approaching, I saw it as a sign to start anew.

But I wasn’t going to tackle this task the same way I had before. No, this time, I was going to try something different.

I challenged myself to a Feng Shui decluttering spree, where I would get rid of 27 items every day for nine days.

It wasn’t easy, but as I slowly shed the weight of unnecessary belongings, I felt lighter, freer, and more in control.

There have been days that I just stopped counting and flowed with this process, as I focused on an area of the house and not how many more items would be disposed of after I reached the 27th.

I did not set out to do it this way – heck, I did not think I had enough to dispose of 243 items.

I thought I lived lightly. False! And this is false in more ways than one.

The impact of this practice on my life has been profound. It’s not just about having a cleaner and more organized space, it’s about the mental and emotional benefits that come with decluttering. I’ve become more mindful of my possessions, more appreciative of the things that truly matter, and more focused on what brings me joy and fulfillment.

It’s amazing how this one simple act has transformed my outlook and charged me with more energy.

So if you’re feeling bogged down by clutter, I encourage you to take the plunge and start decluttering today. It may seem daunting, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Who knows where this journey will take you? All I know is that I’m excited to see where it takes me next. Stay tuned for more updates! ❤️

Blessings
